Wholesale Store Person / Pick Packer and Delivery Driver

 

 Available position: Casual/ Part-time

Wilsons Fruit and Vegetables are seeking a motivated and passionate person to join our wholesale team.  

Wilsons Fruit and Vegetables is a family owned and operated business whose Wholesale department has been distributing fresh produce to some of Ballarat’s best restaurants, cafés and other Ballarat business's for over 30 years and prides itself on top quality produce delivered with exceptional customer service.

This role is a delivery driver/ warehouse & pick packer position with a large manual handling component and customer focus.

Key responsibilities:

• Stock Duties such as putting stock away manually and with pallet truck into cool rooms 

• Picking and Packing orders

• Making deliveries

• Performing manual labour

• Performing cleaning and warehousing duties

• Quality control of produce

• Product knowledge

• Customer service

• Comply with food safety and OH&S standards

 

Successful Applicants will:

• Be team oriented and work well in a small team

• Have strong communication skills

• Be value driven

• Have excellent customer service skills

• Have Warehouse and distribution experience

• Work well in a high paced environment

• Have great attention to detail

 

The successful applicant will also be required to:

• Work rotating weekends

• Start as early as 4am some morning

• Finish late some afternoons (5pm)

• Work a flexible casual roster
